๐ŸŸข๐Ÿ‘ฝ๐ŸŽง๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’ก Build a fun Passengers Boat that can go even underwater

Hello and welcome to our lesson on building a fun passenger boat in Kerbal Space Program (KSP)! In this lesson, we will be focusing on building a boat that can not only navigate the waters of Kerbin but also go underwater at high speeds.

To start, let’s first talk about the basic components you will need to build your boat. First and foremost, you will need a suitable hull to hold your passengers and other equipment. There are many different hull designs to choose from in KSP, so take your time and experiment with different shapes and sizes to find one that suits your needs.

Next, let’s start by adding a cockpit for our passengers to sit in. To do this, click on the “Parts” tab in the bottom left corner and then select “Cockpits” from the list of available parts. Click and drag a cockpit onto the building grid in the center of the screen.

Next, you will need a propulsion system to move your boat through the water. There are many different propulsion options in KSP, including propellers, water jets, and even ion engines. Again, take your time and experiment with different options to find the best one for your boat.

Once you have your hull and propulsion system in place, it’s time to add some features that will allow your boat to go underwater. To do this, you will need to add ballast tanks to your boat, which can be filled with water to help it sink, and air tanks, which can be used to provide buoyancy and lift your boat back to the surface. You will also need to add some sort of diving plane or rudder to allow your boat to maneuver underwater.

With all of these components in place, your boat should be ready to take on the depths of Kerbin’s oceans! To test it out, simply launch your boat from the KSP launchpad and start exploring the waters around Kerbin. You can even try racing your boat against other players’ boats to see who can go the fastest!

๐Ÿ‘‰ If you encounter any problems or need help with your replica or you want to share with us your ideas & progress and read other members’ content on our ๐Ÿ‘พDiscord server ๐Ÿš€ย www.CARE4Space.Euย  where there are specific channels for each topic.

๐Ÿ’ก If you’re looking for some extra activities to do to learn more about building boats in KSP, here are a few ideas:

  • Design and build a passenger boat using Kerbal Space Program (KSP)
  • Try building a submarine that can not only go underwater but also travel to different bodies in the Kerbal system.
  • Experiment with different propulsion systems and see which ones work best for different types of boats.
  • Try building a boat that can travel on both water and land, and see how it performs in different terrain.
  • Create a boat that can carry passengers and cargo, and see how much weight it can handle.
  • Create a realistic submarine and test its capabilities in KSP
  • Experiment with different propulsion systems for the boat and submarine
  • Conduct sea trials to test the boat and submarine’s performance
  • Create a mission to transport passengers from one island to another
  • Add additional features to the boat, such as a bar or lounge area
  • Explore the ocean floor with the submarine and discover new underwater environments
  • Collaborate with other KSP players to design and build even more advanced boats and submarines.
  • Share your designs and experiences on online forums or social media to inspire others.
  • Challenge yourself to create a fully-functional amphibious vehicle that can travel on both land and water.
